Accounts Assistant – About our client:We’re working with a well-established business in Hatfield, looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a varied role covering both sales and purchase ledger, bookkeeping, and general finance admin.
Accounts Assistant – Details:
* £27,000–£30,000 depending on experience
* Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
* Full training on systems

Accounts Assistant – Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger
* Raise invoices
* Allocate receipts and manage daily banking
* Chase outstanding payments
* Maintain accurate ledgers
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Manage sales finance uploads
Purchase Ledger
* Process purchase invoices and match to GRNs
* Run supplier payments
* Handle staff expenses and credit card use
* Monthly creditor reconciliations
Other
* Support wider finance team
* Build internal and external relationships
* Assist with general finance admin as needed
Accounts Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* Sales and purchase ledger experience
* Good bookkeeping knowledge
* Confident with MS Office (especially Excel)
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Clear communicator and team player
* Able to work independently
