The Music Teaching Assistant will support a lead teacher in delivering Music Explorer classes (ages 5-7) at the Costello Music School. The role will include supporting students as they work through the course — learning to read music, exploring instruments, and singing in unison and as soloists.
The role will also involve developing into Arts Award support for our Year 6 students (age 11), who are part of a leadership programme supporting the group alongside this course.
There is potential to grow your understanding of our music classes and progress to teaching independently through our CPD and additional courses with Trinity College London.
