We're recruiting for a Lecturer - SEND to join our team on a sessional, hourly-paid basis, term-time only, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £14.16 to £24.74 per hour, including London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
* Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work
* Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
* Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
* Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
* Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them in their own development and future progression
* Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
* Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Requirements / Qualifications
* Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
* All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
