Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their buying experience
* Stocks merchandise and rotates, stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise
* Performs merchandise inventory as directed
* Sets up displays and stocks shelves, coolers, counters, bins, tables, freezers, containers, or trays with new merchandise.
* Close or open the store
* Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
* Maintain a clean work space
* Follow all safety and health guidelines
* Other duties as assigned
* Guide customers utilizing Seaside Markets core values of Excellent Customer Service, Quality Products, and Community

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law).
* Previous customer service experience preferred
* Language and Math Ability: Read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
* Food Handler Certification required. (Available upon hire.)
