This is a key role within the business, where the Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budgetwhile building strong client relationships along the way. What Youll Be Doing As an Assistant Project Manager, youll be involved in every stage of the project: Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedules to support delivery Planning and programming projects using relevant software Managing site Health & Safety, including writing risk assessments and method statements Coordinating subcontractors on-site to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule Supporting with estimating minor works and pricing variations alongside the QS Allocating and supervising labour across multiple sites Ensuring maintenance and project works meet client expectations and deadlines Working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes Supporting cost control, valuations, invoicing, and final accounts What Were Looking For Experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager role within construction/refurbishment Strong understanding of project delivery, site operations, and H&S Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities at once (without losing your head) Confident communicator who can deal with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Solid IT skills (Excel, Word, project tools) Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
