Overview
Receptionists within EPIC are responsible for the successful co-ordination and oversight of the service administration within Salford Primary Care Togethers (SPCT) Extended Primary Care portfolio of services. The services provided include: GP Out of Hours, Locality Clinical Assessment Service (LCAS), ED Streaming and additional services. The post holder is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the administrative systems that are pivotal to the daily running of these services.
Responsibilities
* Opening/closing of the building
* Monitoring stock levels
* Supporting clinicians with data inputting
* Monitoring the service email inbox
* Responding to and collaborating to support requests
* Telephone calls to colleagues and patients
* Monitoring clinical systems to escalate issues where appropriate
* Supporting planned and urgent care services as well as Primary Care Network Support
* Working with the team to ensure tasks are carried out to required deadlines to support patient care and population health across neighbourhoods in Salford
* Responding to changing circumstances with a positive and flexible approach, including potential changes in location at short notice
* Organising work and managing time autonomously to complete tasks within required timescales
Context
EPIC24 works under the direction of the Primary Care Networks and in delivering Salford CCG Urgent Care contracts.
