* Registered with RICS / ICES and working towardsChartership
* Commercially astute. Knowledge of Standard Formsof Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
* Computer literate with strong skills in MicrosoftOffice Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
* Good communication skills including presentationsand ability to negotiate and persuade others.
* Experience within aconstruction/engineeringimilar and commercial background.

* Ensurethe site team adheres to group procedures and governance
* Development,motivation & performance management of junior staff
* Delegationof appropriate work to junior staff, whilst maintaining accountability
* Participate in the Project Kick Offmeeting and input into and directly influence the production and maintenance ofthe Project Execution Plan.
* Preparation of internal commercialreporting and any other reports which may be required.
* Preparationof internal commercial reporting, influence and contributeto monthly projects reviews and any other reports which may be required.
* Preparationof Valuations/Applications for Payment with full supporting documentation inaccordance with the contract.
* Preparationof Cost Reports to the Client with contractually compliant supportingdocumentation.
* Preparationand management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
* Administrationof subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailedrequisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through toagreement of final accounts.
* Undertakethe contract administration, including change management and maintainassociated registers.
* Identifyingcommercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
* Utilisethe costing system.
* Usethe cost allocation/coding which satisfies both internal and externalrequirements.
* Measurementof quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement asrequired.
* Maintainsite records.
* Adhereto group procedures.
* Positiveengagement with Client equivalent position.
* Assistin the preparation of project final accounts
* Draftingof subcontracts including professional services.
* Identificationof insurance claims and understanding policy coverage.
* CashManagement including WIP control and cash flow production
* Undertakeany other work as required of you by your line manager
