ISS is growing! We are looking for an Account Executive with a genuine interest in the area of Sustainable and Responsible investments, along with a proven track record of revenue outperformance in the Financial Services industry.
Will you be the newest member of our sales team to support increasing growth?
In this role, you will be working as part of the EMEA Governance Solutions Sales team and will be responsible for selling the full range of Stewardship and Governance Solutions to existing clients and asset owners, investment managers, and Hedge Fund prospects.
As the Account Executive, you would be part of a high-performance sales organization that provides valuable data, analytics, and insight to the financial community on important topics facing the world today - corporate governance, environmental and social (ESG) practices of the world’s leading corporations. 3. Achieve revenue and renewal goals
4. Identify and close sales prospects and up sales with existing clients
5. Maintain current book of ISS business by establishing relationships with client product managers and decision makers
6. Grow ISS' market share, recognition and perception within the asset owner, investment management, and Hedge Fund community
7. Continuously assess market opportunities, define, and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
8. Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting
9. Work closely with ISS Product and Marketing managers to define products, services, and marketing plans
10. Build and maintain senior relationships amongst existing clients and prospects
11. Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system
12. Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments
What you bring:
13. Five + years of relevant working experience in institutional sales
14. Excellent presentational skills and inter-personal relationships
15. Innovative, customer-oriented thinker able to identify and execute on market opportunities
16. Highly systematic, organized, and prioritized approach to sales effort in territory
17. Absolute personal and business integrity
18. Willingness to travel
19. Native or proficiency in English required with additional fluency in another European language
20. Advantageous: knowledge and understanding of Investment Stewardship and Responsible Investment and market infrastructure, including regulatory drivers such as SRD2
