About the Role


As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be an invaluable part of the Teaching and Learning Support Department. You'll work closely with teachers, providing essential assistance that enhances the overall effectiveness of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a productive learning atmosphere.
* Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
* Providing crucial support for student wellbeing, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Undertaking essential administrative tasks to keep the classroom running smoothly.

We're seeking a resilient and adaptable individual with a genuine commitment to student success.

Requirements:

* A good working knowledge and understanding of all school policies is essential, along with the ability to ensure vigorous adherence to them in practice.
* Physical and mental resilience, including the physical agility to support children in activities both on and off-site.
* A paramount commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Skills:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
* Patience and understanding when working with diverse student needs.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic school environment.
* Experience working with diverse learners (desirable).
* Knowledge of relevant curriculum and assessment methods (desirable).
