Pay range £38,000 to £58,000 (OTE including overtime) Overview of Role: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of environments. You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear the correct uniform and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances and systems (e.g. boilers, heaters, pipework) Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime Perform safety checks and inspections in line with Gas Safe regulations Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including job sheets and service reports (PDA supplied) Conduct risk assessments Identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and the Gas Safety regulations Provide technical support and advice to clients and colleagues when required Maintain a clean and well stocked company vehicle and always wear the correct uniform and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations Participate in on-call rotas and attend emergency callouts if applicable The successful candidate will have Valid Gas Safe Registration and Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1) Full UK Driving Licence (essential) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent (desirable) Proven experience as a commercial gas engineer in a similar role Strong knowledge of heating systems, pipework, and controls Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to evidence their Gas Safe/relevant qualifications What we offer: £38,000 to £58,000 (OTE including overtime) Company vehicle and fuel card supplied Uniform, PPE & mobile device supplied Employer contributed pension scheme Access to our EAP - Employee Assistance Programme Service level awarded annual leave Enhanced maternity & paternity packages Cycle to Work Scheme Employee Voice programme Sureserve Legends- celebrating the fantastic ways in which our employees live our values Employee engagement events to bring together colleagues Strong opportunities for career growth and development A diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace that values equality We are committed to developing talent at all levels, ensuring equality, diversity, and inclusion in the way we work and in the communities in which we work, and making sure that every one of our people, clients and customers has the opportunity and support to fulfil their professional and personal potential.
