Deputy Head of Housekeeping Job Overview
This is a unique opportunity to work in the hospitality industry as Deputy Head of Housekeeping at Pine Lake.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department when the Housekeeping Manager is absent.
* Play a key role in the induction and training of new and existing team members.
* Mentor new and existing team members on company culture.
* Ensure efficient use of products and materials by all TM's, including PPE and follow sustainability guidelines.
* Create an atmosphere of continual improvement.
* Follow the company brand tenets.
* Be a team player within your department and across the resort.
* Inform team members of any relevant news.
Additional Responsibilities in Absence:
* Assign accommodations to each TM.
* Coordinate times and tasks.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
* The ability to multi task and work under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Computer literacy.
* Motivational and negotiation skills.
* The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
* A positive approach.
Salary and Working Hours:
This role demands 40 hours of work per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays, on a rotating shift basis. Own transport is required due to the location of the resort.
