The role
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and physically capable Female Live-In Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 60s who is living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) following a head injury. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life within the client's own home. About the Role The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, helping the client maintain a fulfilling and active lifestyle while managing identified risks and encouraging independence. No personal care is required. The focus of the role is on promoting independence, supporting medication management, encouraging good nutrition, managing risk, and enhancing the client's overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Promoting independence and supporting daily living activities. Supporting medication routines and encouraging adherence. Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and maintaining good nutrition. Encouraging engagement in meaningful activities and community access. Supporting positive decision-making and risk management. Supporting with household tasks as required. Walking and helping care for the client's dog. Working Pattern Flexible live-in assignments (typically 12 weeks on / off) 12 hour day shifts What to look forward to: £153.00 per day Fully paid travel to and from placements Paid specialist training Holiday pay 14.07% on every hour you work!
