On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Repair Workshop Operative to join my client on a contract basis Role: Repair Workshop Operative Pay: £13.36 per hour PAYE/ £18.16 per hour via Umbrella Location: Chippenham Contract: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm Friday 8am - 3:30pm, 3 months contract IR35 Status: Inside Responsibilities To complete all current operative duties, including but not exclusively: Cardboard baling Packing Booking in Tent duties including receiving and despatching delivery (no forklifting) movement of pallets Receiving and stock checking parts for repair team Advising parts discrepancies Advising out of stock parts Advising of parts requirements to order Review and replenish workshop parts shelving Support stock control activity within the overflow stock location Plan and assign new stock locations Support stock cycle counts as and when required. Any other stock inventory requirements Essential Skills: Previous experience working in a warehouse, stock control, or operative environment is preferred. Experience with goods receiving, despatch, packing, and booking stock into inventory systems. Familiarity with handling parts, stock checking, and supporting workshop or repair teams.
