We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in A-Level Accounting & Business Studies to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all-time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.
You will deliver inspirational and effective teaching, learning and assessment to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences.
Progress will be monitored to ensure aspirational target grades are met or exceeded, with swift and effective interventions put in place to address any underperformance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering A Level Accounting and Business Studies to Year 12 and Year 13 students and will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area.
You will have experience of delivering the AQA specification for A Level Accounting and Business Studies.
We are looking for candidates who will work to build on successful outcomes within Sixth Form and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery, so you must be confident with digital technologies and remote classrooms.
Responsibilities of this role include;
* To teach AQA A Level Accounting and Business Studies
* To prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons – both inside a classroom and via remote technologies
* To provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all learners
* To support and coach learners
What we are looking for;
* Possess a relevant degree
* Have experience teaching in a A-Level setting
* Possess a teaching qualification or have the willingness to work towards one
* Have strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* Work effectively in a large team and as an individual
