About the Position

Location: Coventry
Hours per week: 37
Days per week: Mon-Fri (plus weekend / Bank Holiday standby on rota basis where required). Weekend on call may be a future requirement.
Basis: Full Time & Fixed Term (until June 2027)
Annual Salary Range: £29,329.80 - £34,329.80

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for key clients, managing sampling and analysis activity in line with contractual requirements.
* Develop and maintain monthly and annual sampling plans, ensuring targets are achieved.
* Coordinate workloads across Sampling Technicians and Project Management support staff.
* Monitor sampling performance, reschedule missed events and manage sample notifications.
* Maintain site information packs, risk assessments and procedural documentation in line with UKAS and Quality requirements.
* Produce KPI reports and support regular client review meetings.
* Collate monthly data and generate invoices for client billing.
* Support induction planning for new starters and provide departmental cover when required.
* Work closely with the Field Services Manager and Project Managers to ensure an efficient and consistent service.
* Respond to urgent or ad hoc sampling requests when required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Professional and positive approach with excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Confident using IT systems and analysing operational data.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
* Previous project, coordination or account management experience.
* Experience working within Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
* Environmental monitoring experience beneficial but not essential.
* Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
* Ability to obtain satisfactory security clearance.
