Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 DOE

A progressive and genuinely supportive Harrogate law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer to take a leading role within its busy and well-regarded conveyancing team. This is a solid opportunity for someone who wants a good-quality caseload, autonomy, and a firm that invests in its’ people and profile locally.
The role
You’ll manage a full and varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
1. Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
2. Remortgages
3. Equity release matters
Key responsibilities
4. Run your own caseload end-to-end with minimal supervision
5. Provide clear, practical advice and excellent client care throughout the transaction
6. Draft and review documentation, raise/respond to enquiries, and manage searches and completion
7. Handle the financial aspects of transactions accurately and in line with procedures
8. Maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders
9. Ensure files are progressed efficiently and fully compliant with legal/regulatory standards
10. Support business development by promoting the firm’s services and attending networking events.
About you
You’ll be confident, organised and client-focused, with the ability to keep matters moving and communicate well under pressure. You’ll need:
11. A relevant legal/conveyancing qualification (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEx or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years experience handling own caseload
12. The ability to manage a caseload independently, proactively and accurately
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
14. A professional, personable approach with a strong service mindset
15. Part time candidates would also be welcomed but ideally 4 days minimum per week
