We are currently recruiting Permanent SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Coventry, starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are seeking a long-term role within a specialist education setting.
The Role
* Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural needs
* Providing 1-to-1 and small-group support in line with individual education plans (IEPs)
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom support
* Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and independence
* Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school, care, or support setting
* A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
* Confidence supporting pupils with additional or complex needs
* Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care where required
* A good understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
* A genuine commitment to making a positive difference in pupils' lives
