We are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing practice and contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional patient care initially working Fridays 08:00-5:00pm.

Role and responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be instrumental in promoting optimal oral health for our patients of all ages. Your key responsibilities will include:
· Performing thorough oral health assessments, including screening for gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer.
· Carrying out professional teeth cleaning (scaling and polishing) to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
· Applying fluoride and dental sealants to protect against decay.
· Taking and processing dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing oral health conditions.
· Educating patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques, dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
· Administering local anaesthetics as needed.
· Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to strict clinical governance standards.
· Collaborating with our team of experienced dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
· Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry and professional best practices.
Qualifications and experience
· Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene, or a relevant qualification approved by the General Dental Council (GDC).
· Current GDC registration and full indemnity cover.
· Experience working as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting (preferred, but newly qualified hygienists are encouraged to apply).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide clear, reassuring explanations.
· Strong manual dexterity and confidence in handling dental equipment.
· A caring, empathetic, and professional approach to patient care.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in using dental software and maintaining digital records.
