A vacancy has occurred for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested, and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained.
Responsibilities include food preparation, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene, and adherence to health and safety regulations, including the Food Safety Act and the Health & Safety at Work Act. Experience in catering is not essential, as training will be provided both on the job and through compulsory off-site training.
The successful candidate will initially be based at one location but may be required to move to different locations with appropriate notice, as the service requires.
Applicants must be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children. If progressed after the interview, applicants will need to complete a verification form.
