Our client, a market leading logistics business, is looking for an experienced management accountant to play a key role in providing financial insights and support key decisions to promote business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* The preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance.
* Analyse financial data, monitor risk and identify trends which could promote business growth.
* Ensure accurate cash flow forecasts and manage working capital effectively.
* Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support business operations.
About you:
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA active studier with the plan to become qualified.
* Experienced management accountant with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
* Advanced excel ability, as well as experience with accounting systems.
* A proactive and adaptable approach with a strong desire to improve financial processes.
* Logistics experience is desirable.
