ABOUT GRIT PICTURES

Grit Pictures is a craft-led film production company based in Brighouse, creating bold, ideas-first commercial films for brands across the UK.

We’re a small, friendly, highly collaborative team who care deeply about creative quality and how we work together. We believe great creative work comes from strong systems, calm organisation, and a studio environment where people can focus on doing their best work.

We are currently evolving how the studio operates, putting process, clarity, and team wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. This role is a key part of that change.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Studio Coordinator (Junior) to become the organisational heartbeat of our studio.

This is an operational and coordination role focused on keeping communication, scheduling, and daily studio flow running smoothly. It is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and problem-solving.

This is not a creative production pathway role. While you’ll work closely alongside a creative team and learn how a busy studio operates, the primary focus is operational support and coordination.

Your work will help protect the team’s focus, reduce chaos, and ensure projects and people stay organised.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Calendar & Time Management (PRIORITY AREA)
* Managing team calendars and scheduling efficiently
* Organising meetings and consolidating conversations into structured time blocks
* Booking follow‑up calls and maintaining schedule clarity
* Protecting focus time and reducing diary chaos
* Supporting the Creative Director and Producer with day‑to‑day planning
* Assisting with inbox organisation and email triage
* Flagging priority messages and actions
* Organising communications so nothing slips through cracks
* Supporting follow‑ups and keeping conversations moving
* Setting up new projects within internal systems
* Maintaining organised project documentation
* Managing freelancer availability records
* Supporting booking logistics where needed
* Keeping studio systems tidy and up to date
* Supporting internal workflows and playbooks
* Processing receipts, expenses, and invoices for accounting
* Supporting purchasing and supplier admin
* Helping maintain a clean, organised, welcoming workspace
* Supporting practical studio organisation when needed
* Helping create a calm, organised working environment
* Assisting with team logistics and internal coordination
* Contributing to a positive, friendly atmosphere

TRAINING & SUPPORT

We don’t expect you to know everything on day one!!!!

* Clear onboarding
* Structured training
* Written playbooks for all recurring tasks
* Support from a friendly, experienced team
* Defined systems and processes to help you succeed

We want you to feel confident, supported, and set up to win.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable managing calendars and communication
* Proactive and reliable
* Calm under pressure and good at prioritising
* Friendly, approachable, team‑first attitude
* Happy working in an office‑based environment
* Comfortable handling a variety of admin and coordination tasks
* Experience in production or creative industries is a bonus — but organisation, attitude, and reliability matter more.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS (AND ISN’T)

This role IS:

* ✅A central operational role within a creative studio
* ✅About organisation, coordination, and communication
* ✅Structured, practical, and process‑driven
* ✅A key part of helping the team do their best work

❌ This role IS NOT:

* ❌A creative production or filming role

This role carries real responsibility and ownership.

WHY JOIN GRIT PICTURES LTD?

* Friendly, supportive, down‑to‑earth team
* Clear structure and training from day one
* Real ownership of your role
* A chance to help shape how a growing creative studio operates
* Work that genuinely makes a difference to the team every day

HOW TO APPLY

If you’d like to apply, please send us the following:

* Your CV
* A 3‑minute video telling us ; A little about who you are. What attracted you to this role. Why you think you’d be a good fit for a coordination‑focused studio position. What you’re hoping to gain from the role.

We’re mainly looking to get a sense of your communication style, personality, and how you think. Don’t worry this is not a make or break audition!!
