Ward Clerk – Ward F9 Gastroenterology and Hepatology
12‑Month Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard‑working Ward Clerk to join our team on Ward F9, a 33‑beded Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology ward at Frimley Park Hospital. This is a key frontline role for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience working with the public. You will provide high‑quality reception and administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient day‑to‑day running of the ward.
As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties. These include managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges using EPIC, liaising closely with clinical teams to resolve queries, and maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date patient records. You will also be responsible for ordering essential ward supplies via EPROC, as well as supporting data collection for audits and research when required.

This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administration cover for the ward.
* Process patients’ admissions, transfers, discharges on EPIC and liaise with ward staff to resolve any problems.
* Ensure adequate stock levels of day‑to‑day supplies using EPROC.
* Assist with data collection for audits and research as required.
