Overview
Part-time Hourly Paid Lecturers in Law at Leeds Beckett University – the role involves delivering teaching for the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and related law modules, with online and in-person delivery as required.
Responsibilities
* Deliver teaching during the day and teach one or more LPC skills and knowledge areas: Advocacy, Business Law and Practice, Drafting, Interviewing, Legal writing, Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation, Professional Conduct, Property Law and Practice, Solicitors Accounts, Tax, Wills and Probate.
* Support learning, development and assessment of future solicitors.
* Travel to Leeds when required to teach.
* Participate in training and development to support online and face-to-face delivery.
Qualifications
* Professionally qualified with experience of practice. A current practising certificate is not required.
* Experience of teaching within Higher Education is an advantage; full training will be provided if required.
