The Youth Service is undergoing a exciting time of development and has a number of opportunities to be part of the team as a Youth Support Worker, engaging and supporting young people to years, up to years (if Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and/or a Care Leaver) in our youth zones and out in the community delivering detached and outreach.

We currently have evening part-time positions:

Northwich and Winsford

X three hour posts

X six hour posts

Our goal is to support young people to realise their potential and encourage them to look to a brighter future. We believe that young people need positive opportunities and experiences to help shape them for the future.

We deliver a range of different groups that young people can attend including:

1. Targeted Open Access
2. SEND Youth Groups
3. LGBTQ+
4. Youth Voice
5. Detached

The sessions run in the evening between -pm and can be delivered across the full week, this will include Friday night delivery.

We are not looking for experience but the right candidate will have a passion for supporting young people who are potentially struggling to build a strong future and have the ability to form meaningful professional relationships to inform and educate about making positive changes.

We are looking for candidates who will:

Work with a diverse group of young people.

Take the time to talk to young people about their needs.

Plan activities for and with young people based on their needs and interests.

Deliver the activities in a fun and engaging way.

Lead sessions in arts, cooking, music and crafts.

Be aware of the diverse needs of young people who you are supporting.

Know how to take action when a young person is in danger or at risk.
