Job introduction
Are you a team player who enjoys working in a busy environment? Are you well-organised, able to manage competing demands, and detail-oriented? If so, consider joining our Housing Leadership Support Team as a Housing Support Officer. We are a friendly, small team that provides administrative support, manages correspondence, and supplies management information for reports to ensure the smooth running of the department.
As a Housing Support Officer, you will support the Housing Management Team by producing documents and reports, minuting meetings, and handling various administrative projects. The team manages responses to Housing FOIs, Member Enquiries, Area Panels, and Complaints, as well as the Out of Hours Rota.
Your role will involve diary management, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and disseminating information. You will handle sensitive information tactfully and diplomatically, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet strict deadlines.
Previous experience in a busy office environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
We offer benefits such as working within a supportive team. Please carefully review the application guidance on our website, including how to complete your application and what to expect during the interview process.
Additional information
Your salary will be pro-rated if the position is less than 37 hours or is term-time only. We support flexible working and employee wellbeing, with arrangements tailored to individual needs in consultation with your manager. Travel to the designated office location is at your own expense.
