Job Title: Senior Support Worker Location: Cwmbran Setting: Nursing Home - Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and Physical Disabilities Hours: 39.37 hours/week (working pattern of 3 days one week, 4 the next) Pay: £12.50/hour (to be reviewed after probation) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join a specialist nursing home in Cwmbran. This role involves supporting adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities. You'll lead by example, oversee daily care delivery, and ensure that residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred support. Key Responsibilities: Administer medication and ensure accurate recording Allocate daily duties and support staff throughout the shift Liaise with GPs, social workers, external professionals, and families Support service users with daily tasks and promote independence Maintain clear and accurate care documentation Uphold safeguarding and health & safety procedures Requirements: Previous experience in a senior or lead care/support role Medication trained Strong leadership and communication skills NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards) Right to work in the UK ( Please note: Sponsorship is not available ) To Apply: Please send your CV or get in touch to arrange an interview.
