About The Role
This role is responsible for managing the progress of work across one or more teams. You’ll work closely with colleagues in development, analysis, testing, and business roles to ensure the right work is being delivered, issues are addressed quickly, and stakeholders stay aligned and informed.
You’ll lead the organization of day-to-day activities—managing team capacity, supporting planning, addressing blockers, and ensuring a clear path forward. This role suits someone who takes ownership of delivery without relying heavily on formal processes, and who thrives on helping others move with clarity and confidence.
This is a hybrid role based in Barton-Upon-Humber.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee delivery activity to ensure teams focus on the right priorities.
* Support planning by aligning capacity, scope, and expectations.
* Provide clear, timely progress updates to stakeholders.
* Remove blockers and escalate issues to maintain momentum.
* Track progress, flag risks early, and manage updates.
* Run regular reviews to align on next steps and decisions.
* Record risks, actions, and decisions throughout delivery.
* Encourage efficient, consistent team practices.
* Prepare upcoming work by managing dependencies and aligning stakeholders.

About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
* Experience leading technical or development teams in fast-paced environments.
* Skilled at collaborating across functions like QA, UX, and analysis to ensure alignment.
* Strong organizational and hands-on delivery management skills.
* Clear, confident communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
* Proficient with Jira (or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
* Proactive and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain focus under pressure.
* Relevant qualifications (APM, BCS, PMP, Prince2, MSP) are a plus.
