Your new role
As our new Apprentice Document Controller you will be fully supported as you study towards Level 3 in Business Administration (18 months). You will also be working closely with our Business Support Shared Service team to provide them support as you continue on through your studies.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Distribution of documents on external sites in workflows and transmittals.
* Working with a project team to ensure documents are issued to client deadlines
* Run reports to check for workflows, RFI, QA rejected documents, drawing comments etc
* QA checking documents to ensure compliant with project protocols and numbering convention
* Update TIDPs and trackers with up-to-date information
* Project set up for document control and roll out
* Setting up new users on projects with correct access
* Setting up distribution lists
* Liaising with team to plan and resource
* Build internal and external relationships effectively
* Work well in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to highlight and implement any process improvements
* Project closedown and archiving
* Act as the main point of contact for a designated project
* Train engineers on document management software so they can find project information and understand how a project is run by the client.
Your new team
Studying through the apprenticeship levy, we invite you to join us as part of our Administration Shared Services Team for the UK. Based with the Document Control Team, reporting into the Document Control Team Leader, you will work across the UK markets to provide document control support.
