My client is looking for a driven individual that has a strong appetite for learning & development that can widely support the management accountant team. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant looking to progress or an Assistant Accountant looking for a clear progression pathway into Management Accounts. Job Description
3. Assist in supporting in the month end management accounts process.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
5. Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team on various projects.
6. Assist in processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable.
7. Understanding detailed elements of revenue to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer billing and recognition of revenue
8. Assess, analyse and challenge the business performance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
9. Relevant experience in a Progressive Accounts Assistant, or Assistant Accountant role
10. Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA is preferred but not essential (Also including Finance graduates with exemptions in ACCA or CIMA)
11. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
12. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
14. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
