Wash Plant CAD Engineer: Role Overview
LOCATION | Battleford Road, Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
DEPARTMENT | Engineering
RESPONSIBLE TO | Engineering Manager
SALARY | Competitive based on experience.
The successful applicant will become part of the Wash Plant design team at the Tyrone International design office in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Responsible for the design and development of new game-changing aggregate processing plants and products for our customers across the globe.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide engineered solutions for the development of new products and modifications to existing products.
* To resolve problems at the root cause quickly and effectively and manage engineering change process.
* Ensure current and new products meet standards and performance levels specified for safety, function and reliability.
* Reduce manufacturing cost through improved design and consultation with the production department, purchasing and suppliers.
* Stay knowledgeable of machine component advancements and competitor design trends; apply latest technology to new and existing designs where appropriate to stay current and innovative.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:
* Living in Northern Ireland, ideally local to Dungannon.
* Degree educated or equivalent in Engineering with design experience in the mobile tracked equipment.
* Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally CREO.
* Good technical expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
* Experience of washing systems would be advantageous.
* A good understanding of the various applications that the equipment can operate in along with an appreciation for the expected performance of the machines.
* Creativity and innovative thinking.
* Good English communication skill, both written and spoken;
* Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
* A “Can do” attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.
* Ability to work with others to meet deadlines.
* Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines.
* Able to select from multiple design alternatives when a clear best choice is not evident.
