J ob Title: MFL Teacher Location: Rotherham (S60) Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time Are you a passionate and experienced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher eager to inspire students and help them develop confidence and fluency in a new language? GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher to join a school in Rotherham (S60). This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment. Role Overview: As an MFL Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons in French, Spanish, German, or other modern languages, helping pupils to develop communication skills, cultural understanding, and a love for languages. You will also contribute to extracurricular language clubs and enrichment activities. As an MFL Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL lessons across various age groups and abilities. Promote language acquisition, cultural awareness, and communication skills. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Support extracurricular language activities and clubs where appropriate. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare. Requirements for MFL Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching MFL across primary & secondary age groups. Strong subject knowledge and teaching strategies for language acquisition. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
