Position Purpose
We are seeking a Music Festival Producer to support the execution of the music programme for SXSW London, the large scale multi-disciplinary festival. This person will act as the central point of communication across internal project teams, vendors and our festival client, ensuring seamless coordination of music production elements.
The ideal candidate is an execution-minded, highly organised producer, with a calm solutions-orientated approach to complex music festival workflows. They are confident in translating creative intent into actionable production plans and are adept at managing technical documentation, advancing tools, timelines, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth delivery from advance through to on-site execution.
Candidates should be based in London. This application is not for full-time employment.
Contract Length: April – June 2026. (Up to 4-5 days a week in April & May, depending on availability). Onsite 30th May – 7th June.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of communication for our client, the Music Team at SXSW London, relaying and advancing key action items in collaboration with internal project teams, vendors and client stakeholders.
* Work with Head of Music and Music Festival Producer at SXSW London to ensure that all the SXSW London Music Team’s production, operations and artist liaison requirements are gathered and fulfilled.
* Create and manage music advance workflows between client, production vendors, programme producers and artist liaison teams.
* Collate project timelines, schedules and milestones related to the music programme
* Tracking deadlines, flagging any delays and following up with solutions where necessary.
* Lead client meetings, internal meetings and site visits related to music production, venues and music operations.
* Maintain and update scheduling platforms and master documentation with accurate tech specs and artist requirements.
* Support the production team with creation and distribution of advancing materials.
* Send initial communications to artists and co-curators, ensuring clear, professional and consistent messaging.
* Collaborate with wider project producing team to relay key information in support of wider festival planning.
* Oversee on-site execution, including troubleshooting and support of smooth day-to-day operations.

* This role in particular does have fluidity to it and may vary based on project needs.
Position Requirements
* Previous experience in music festival production, music venue production, or live touring.
* Experience working in grassroots venues and with a wide range of music scenes and genres.
* Working knowledge of contemporary music & London’s grassroots live music scene.
* Strong understanding of music advancing, technical riders and production workflows
* Experience with advancing software (LoadIn preferred but alternatives considered)
* Highly organised and detail orientated, with a solutions-driven mindset and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A passion for live music.
