Role Description
We’re looking for a Groundworks Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role in Devizes. This position involves managing groundworks and landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and safety standards are upheld. Key duties include coordinating the team, making sure equipment is used correctly, keeping the site safe, and working closely with clients to meet project goals. The ideal candidate will lead and motivate the crew while maintaining efficiency and delivering top-quality results. It’s a hands‑on role within a small team, and Henry expects everyone to pitch in with a proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and a focus on growing with the business.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and guide a team effectively
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining equipment such as mini diggers, track dumpers, and rollers
* Knowledge of groundworks, drainage systems, landscaping, and site clearance
* Experience in project planning, problem-solving, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients and team members
* Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and project requirements effectively
* Previous supervisory experience in groundworks or construction is highly desirable
* A valid full UK driving licence is required
