A BIG EAS Y restaurant manager is responsible for assisting the GM and team with the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Their primary role is to manage and coordinate the staff, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure that all operational and safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities
* Assigning shift assignments, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to the entire team
* Customer service: Ensuring exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, monitoring service quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
* Operations management: Overseeing opening/closing procedures, inventory management, food safety and hygiene, and equipment maintenance
* Financial management: Monitoring sales, controlling labour costs, and minimizing food waste
* Compliance: Ensuring health and safety, food handling, and licensing requirements, plus maintaining records
* Training and development: Leading daily briefings, overseeing trial shifts, and upholding BIG EASY standards
* Problem solving: Resolving customer complaints, staffing challenges, or operational disruptions promptly
