Smart Teachers are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a "Outstanding" mainstream primary school in Fulham.
About the role
* You will support a child who has Autism on a 1:1 basis in a reception class
* Pupil needs extra support to access the curriculum - you will need experience with phonics
* There will be a focus on helping the pupil develop social relationships with other students
* Role will start in September on a full time basis for the academic year
About the school
* "Outstanding" 2 form entry primary school in Fulham
* Supportive SENCO, will provide support in your role
* Trained speech and language therapist work with the school to support some students
* School provide additional training for successful candidates where necessary
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* Be willing to obtain an enhanced child workforce DBS
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Have experience working in schools or with children in a similar setting
