Commercial Executive – Foodservice

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a passionate and analytical Commercial Executive to support the growth of key customer relationships and contribute to the continued success of our dynamic Commercial team.
?? What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting live customer accounts and new business development efforts, working closely with our Senior Commercial Manager and Commercial Director.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing day-to-day commercial operations for key accounts.
* Analysing sales data to forecast trends and unlock new category opportunities.
* Supporting strategic planning and pricing by building and maintaining complex cost-price models.
* Learning about our agricultural operations, including Poultry and Pig modelling.
* Collaborating across internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Aiding the Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial Manager to Pilgrim's Europe sales, volume & profitability targets (budget & PIP initiatives) and supporting the broader objectives of SCM line manager, Commercial Director and Foodservice BU.
* Participating in weekend on-call duties on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 4 weekends).
?? What You Bring:
* A degree or equivalent experience.
* High level of numeracy and strong Excel skills (advanced spreadsheet capability).
* Strong relationship-building and communication abilities – both internally and with customers.
* A positive, curious, and tenacious attitude with a passion for delivering results.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to other Pilgrim's Europe sites and customer locations.

* Commercial and financial acumen.
* Customer insight and category analysis.
* Experience with NPD (new product development) or food innovation.
* Proven analytical and commercial skills in a complex business environment.
* Confident in presenting and influencing across multiple levels.
