Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant operations, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage the front of house team, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction
* Supervise and train front of house staff, fostering a positive team environment
* Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
* Manage inventory and supplies for the front of house area, coordinating with kitchen staff
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations
* Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service quality
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of the operation
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and cooking
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Previous experience in barista duties is an advantage
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* A passion for providing outstanding hospitality and guest experiences
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
