Hartmann Young are partnered with a leading CRO in early-phase clinical trials to appoint a senior leader to own and optimise participant recruitment and engagement across a global portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end participant lifecycle: identification, attraction, enrolment, retention
* Deliver recruitment targets on time and within budget across multiple studies
* Own and track KPIs, forecasting, and participant flow metrics (incl. screening failures)
* Drive continuous improvement across recruitment strategy, processes, and systems
* Lead and develop cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment
* Oversee recruitment platforms, CRM, and data-driven decision making
* Ensure compliance with GCP, GDPR, and regulatory standards
* Manage senior stakeholder relationships (incl. NHS, NIHR, KOLs)
* Own recruitment budgets and contribute to commercial delivery
Requirements:
* Significant experience in clinical trial recruitment (CRO preferred)
* Strong leadership and team management experience
* Proven ability to deliver against recruitment targets and KPIs
* Experience working with NHS sites and external partners
* Solid understanding of clinical research regulations (GCP)
* Background in Life Sciences or related field
