Framework is a registered charity delivering housing support, health, and employment services to people with a diverse range of needs. We assist rough sleepers and those who need help to keep their home, support excluded youngsters as they move into adulthood, and those starting or returning to work. We provide access to treatment for people with mental health issues and those using alcohol or substances, and we join up services for homeless people with multiple and complex needs. Through 70 services across East Midlands, we are both a safety net and a platform for change, helping more than eighteen thousand people each year.
Your role
We are growing our HR team and are looking for two experienced HR Advisors. Our working environment is challenging but rewarding. You’ll join an organisation that has been fighting to end homelessness for over two decades and work closely with partners to keep this mission alive. Your hybrid role will support teams across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, giving you flexibility to work in the most effective way.
What you’ll be doing;
* Work closely with managers to provide HR advice and support on a full range of Employee Relations casework across the organisation.
* Manage your own caseload, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases from start to finish.
* Upskill line managers to build confidence and competence.
* Support the delivery of a variety of line manager workshops.
* Contribute to HR projects across a wide range of areas that are both specific to your area of the organisation and also as part of the organisational HR Plan.
* Work closely with HR Business Partners and the wider HR team to provide the best service to managers and employees.
* Work with Trade Union Representatives and other partner organisations.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
* A proven track record in a similar ER/HR role.
* Experience of Employee Relations including managing disciplinary and grievance, performance, and absence cases.
* Resilience and a flexible, supportive but assertive approach.
* Effective communication skills and a natural professional curiosity.
* Good working knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to apply it to day‑to‑day situations.
* The ability to work across a wide range of disciplines and different teams with people at all levels of the organisation.
Why Join Us?
* We invest in you and encourage career progression providing a full induction, e‑learning and classroom training, management development pathways, fully‑funded professional qualifications and more.
* Your wellbeing is important to us. We emphasise it in all our working environments and employ a Wellbeing Practitioner to support our staff.
* Employee assistance programme, salary sacrifice schemes.
* Stakeholder pension, enhanced maternity and paternity leave and paid sick leave.
* 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays, increasing with service.
* Paid DBS and Update Service.
* Loyalty awards and non‑contributory life insurance.
* Equality and diversity is important to us: we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and cultures, and appreciate the variety of experience they provide. As one of Nottingham’s few Disability Confident Leaders, we warmly encourage job applications from people with disabilities.
Framework supports all employees to achieve a better work/life balance. If you wish us to consider flexible working or job share as part of your application please state this in the supporting statement section.

Equal Opportunities
Framework is an Equal Opportunities Employer. Registered charity No: 1060941.
As a Disability Confident employer, we warmly encourage job applications from people with disabilities. Framework is committed to offering opportunities to people from diverse communities. If you have specific requirements or adjustments, please let us know if there is anything we can do to support your application.
As an organisation we do not offer sponsorship for overseas candidates as our roles do not come under the Shortage Occupancy List (SOL) for the scheme. Any non‑UK citizen who wishes to apply for a role within Framework would need to be able to provide valid RTW in the UK without the need for support from us.
