About The Role
As a Venue & Events Manager, you’ll support the
smooth delivery of premium events across Woods Quay and the Silver Fleet,
ensuring exceptional hospitality, efficient operations and a consistently high
guest experience. The role combines hands‑on event delivery, team coordination,
stock and logistics management, client interaction and adherence to health and
safety standards, contributing to seamless, memorable events every time.

execution at scale. Menus are refined, elegant, and thoughtfully curated using
seasonal, sustainably sourced ingredients. Established for over 70 years,
Woods’ Silver Fleet is a family-owned business renowned for its attention to
design and service detail whilst aiming to grow and scale. Clients include Dom
Pérignon, Google, TikTok, Jaguar, and Bulgari.
Working hours : 40 hours a week
Your Key Responsibilities as a Venue & Events Manager
will be:
* Be responsible for the event hospitality
delivery across the fleet and site, ensuring seamless event delivery and positive client feed back.
* Source, mentor and develop the hospitality team.
* Be accountable for budget management on an event
by event basis.
* Develop, maintain and coach both full time and
temporary event staff.
* Strategically promote and implement sales
growth, revenue increases and profitability, where possible.
* Work on continual development of processes and
procedures.
* Act as an ambassador for Absolute Taste and the
prestigious venues we work with, maintaining client relationships at all times.
* Maintain stock levels and taking responsibility
for par levels, storage areas and stock counts across beverage and equipment.
* Build relationships with key suppliers
* Maintaining H&S policy and due diligence as
designated by legislation and Absolute Taste’s internal specification, to include all relevant
recording and documentation.
Product
Development
* Proactively assess our events delivery processes
to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to enhance service
delivery across all levels of our events operations.
Team
* Contribute to a strong team ethic and a culture
of cross department support
* Collaborate effectively with Woods Staff and AT
staff members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
Reporting
* Complete all reports and checklists as required
by standard operating procedures(SOP), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
delivery of events.
* Maintain AT stock list and equipment list as per
SOP. Track, record and report as needed.
Equipment
* Maintain
organised and tidy all stock, equipment and storage areas.
* Promote a culture of respect and proper care for
equipment.
* Log all
breakages
IT
* Generate reports as needed to analyse events
cost from staff, drinks, stock and market pricing.
* Participate in EPOS training to become
proficient in system setup and programming
* Online modules as required specific to the role.

* Adhere strictly to all health and safety
regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers · Lead and
record H&S process and issues.

within a food or beverage environment
