Salary: £38,000 per year + performance related bonuses + travel costs covered

Elem Group is a fast-growing company best known for Elem Hair, a group of luxury hair salons across the UK. Building on our success, we have launched Elem Digital which is a brand-new marketing company specialising in digital marketing, predominantly for the hair and beauty industry but we also cover a wide range of other industries.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join us at the start of this exciting journey. This role offers the opportunity to shape our marketing offering, work with a mix of established and new clients, and grow alongside the company.
You will be based primarily at our Cambridge office and as Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead all aspects of our digital marketing operations from strategy and content creation to campaign management and team leadership. The role will also involve travel at least two days per week (expenses covered) which will be to our Elem Hair sites across the UK and to client locations as the business develops.
You will play a key role in shaping the identity of Elem Digital, delivering measurable results for clients and building a high-performing in-house marketing team as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Campaigns
* Develop and deliver digital marketing strategies for Elem Group brands and external clients.
* Manage campaigns across social media, paid ads, email, and web.
* Content Creation
* Oversee the production of high-quality digital content including video, photography, graphics, and copy.
* Ensure all creative output aligns with brand values and client objectives.
* Paid Media & Performance
* Plan, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
* Monitor KPIs, analyse data, and report on campaign performance.
* Website & SEO
* Manage client websites, ensuring SEO optimisation and smooth user experience.
* Oversee updates and improvements with developers where required.
* Team Leadership
* Recruit, manage, and develop a small marketing team as Elem Digital grows.
* Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers when necessary.
* Client Management
* Work closely with Elem Group brands and new clients to understand their goals and deliver effective digital marketing solutions.
* Travel regularly to client locations to manage content shoots, meetings, and campaigns.
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of this role. You'll need to be both creative and analytical, with excellent leadership skills and a strong commercial mindset and ideally have:
* Proven experience in digital marketing management, ideally in a multi-site or agency environment.
* Strong track record in content creation, social media growth and paid advertising.
* Excellent knowledge of SEO, email marketing and analytics platforms.
* Confident project manager with the ability to prioritise multiple campaigns.
* Leadership skills with experience in managing or mentoring a team.
* Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
* Flexible and willing to travel regularly across the UK (expenses fully covered).
