Salary Range : £29,930 to £33,505 per annum (dependent on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, over 5 days Working Location: Monday-Thursday in our Head Office in Lancaster, work from home on Fridays (Flexible working options will be considered) About the role We are seeking a motivated and articulate individual to operate as a key focal point with our stakeholders, delivering robust and meaningful financial reporting. Your strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping will be essential in ensuring both internal and external compliance. As an Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial reports, VAT returns, credit control, debtor reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. Developing and maintaining thorough balance sheet reconciliations, performing daily bank statement reconciliations, and ensuring precision in all financial records. Organising and managing financial documentation and filing systems to uphold a strong reporting framework, while contributing to the development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls.
