Job description: We're looking for a CQC Compliance Officer to ensure Oviva remains fully compliant with Care Quality Commission standards, providing specialist support in compliance monitoring, internal audits, and risk management. This role supports regulatory readiness and ensures our services continue to meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and governance.
In this role, youll collaborate closely with our Medical Director (CQC Registered Manager), quality and operations teams, helping embed compliance best practices across Ovivas services. Youll take the lead on internal audits, risk management advice, and maintaining the evidence base that supports our inspection preparedness.

Job Responsibilities
Maintain and update Ovivas CQC compliance evidence folders
Monitor, review and update internal policies to reflect evolving CQC requirements
Lead internal audits against CQC standards and report the findings
Provide advisory support to operations and leadership teams on compliance and risk mitigation
Promote a proactive compliance culture across the organisation and support embedding of best practice
Ensure consistent readiness for inspections and address audit findings
Required profile: Job Requirements
Solid knowledge of CQC standards, healthcare compliance requirements, and inspection frameworks
Experience in regulatory, governance, or quality assurance roles
Proven ability to conduct audits and prepare compliance reports
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to influence across teams
Confident working autonomously and driving processes in a matrixed environment
Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in compliance, healthcare governance, or related field
