Glasgow Life is looking for a Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral) to join us on a 35-hour Full Time Permanent contract. As Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral) you will be joining our in-demand Sport and Wellbeing Team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports people to be physically active in Glasgow.

The role
As Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral) you will support the work of the wider Physical Activity Team with a focus upon the coordination and development of our programmes to support people with long term health conditions. In this role you will report to the Sport and Physical Activity Development Officer and work alongside an established Physical Activity team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as a Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator (Referral) you’ll need:
• Essential: Professional Qualification in exercise referral, science or a similar field.
• Desirable: Experience of supporting people with long term health conditions into physical activity.
• Essential: Flexible approach to ensure a person-centred service that meets individual’s needs.
• Essential: Ability to evaluate and report on programme outcomes effectively.
• Desirable: Ability to schedule and manage people to ensure smooth delivery of the programme.
