* Identify and deploy automation tools (e.g. VBA, SQL, RPA, Python, or Power Automate) to streamline data validation, transformation, and submission processes.
* Partner with technology and data teams to deliver enhanced system capabilities, improved data flows, and integration between internal and external systems.
* Champion data quality initiatives, ensuring integrity, transparency, and traceability throughout the BDX lifecycle.
* Develop and maintain data dashboards, exception reports, and analytics to support operational insights and continuous improvement.

2. Leadership & Team Management

* Manage and develop the BDX team, ensuring timely and accurate production of Written, Paid, and Claims BDX data.
* Allocate resources effectively across BAU operations, projects, and ad-hoc requests.
* Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and professional growth.
* Support team upskilling and career progression through mentoring, training, and development initiatives.
* Promote best practices in collaboration, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

3. Governance, MI & Reporting

* Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s, carrier, and internal data governance standards.
* Oversee the preparation of management information (MI), performance metrics, and reporting packs for senior management and ExCo.
* Support internal and external audits through accurate documentation, data lineage tracking, and clear process control evidence.
* Establish robust governance frameworks for BDX data, ensuring audit readiness and control adherence.
* Maintain transparent reporting pipelines with clear version control and validation checkpoints.

4. Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Management

* Action governance of all BDX outputs, ensuring adherence to quality, accuracy, and timeliness standards.
* Maintain structured processes for BDX data production, validation, and reconciliation between internal systems, bordereaux data, and carrier records.
* Act as the key point of contact for carriers and internal stakeholders on all BDX-related matters.
* Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Delegated Authority, Claims, Finance, and Data teams to align BDX outputs with business and regulatory requirements.
* Handle carrier and stakeholder queries efficiently and professionally.
* Drive continuous improvement in process control, service quality, and reporting accuracy.

* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail, data accuracy, and reporting integrity.
