Your new company Our client is a highly-regarded defendant law firm with offices nationwide. They are looking for a senior associate, legal director or partner with strong defendant insurance experience to join as a Business Development Lawyer in their Manchester office. This is a non-fee-earning role. Your new role Responsibilities will include: Contributing to the development of practice area(s) within the firm through business development and marketing strategies. Attend internal and external strategy meetings designed to manage client relationships. Identify and engage target clients. Identify legal/regulatory changes to market services. Lead client events with input from business development and marketing teams. Develop non-technical marketing aligned with group strategy. Create and distribute technical legal content Manage and co-ordinate projects for the insurance practice. What you'll need to succeed You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 6 years PQE. Applicants must have strong defendant insurance experience and excellent business development skills. Previous experience developing your own practice is desirable. A strong academic background, excellent communication/presenting skills and the ability to manage time efficiently are required.
