This highly ranked law firm is searching for its newest Head of Commercial Debt Recovery to be based in their central Brighton office.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing a well-established commercial debt recovery function across several offices, mentoring and managing a team that acts for a broad range of clients, including banks, local authorities, and professional service firms.
This team is known for its results-driven approach, recovering significant returns for clients and maintaining one of the strongest reputations in the region.
Key responsibilities for a Head of Commercial Debt Recovery include:
* Developing and executing business development strategies
* Overseeing efficient case progression using specialist workflow software
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant AML and regulatory procedures
* Managing relationships with key clients and building new opportunities
* Working collaboratively across other legal and support teams to drive growth
The ideal candidate for this Head of Commercial Debt Recovery job will have:
* Proven experience in commercial debt recovery
* A track record of successful team leadership and business growth
* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
* Familiarity with debt recovery systems, ideally Nexum
* A good understanding of AML and FSMA regulatory obligations
Additionally, a strong client following and previous experience in a similarly ranked firm are desirable, as are CICM qualifications or equivalent.
