Position Overview:
We seek an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years of postgraduate experience in fit-out and joinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to join a forward-thinking team where your skills and ideas will be valued.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for fit-out and joinery projects
2. Perform accurate estimating of project costs, materials, and labour
3. Manage project finances and ensure cost control
4. Conduct risk management and value engineering
5. Prepare bills of quantities, schedules, and project documentation
6. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
7. Monitor project progress and prepare financial reports
8. Collaborate with site managers and clients to achieve project goals
Requirements:
1. 3-4 years of post-graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out and joinery
2. Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Evaluate & Procore
5. Strong communication and negotiation abilities
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
