The Job Role:
In this hands on, full 360 HR role, you will oversee the workload of 2 HR Advisors, reporting diretly to the strategic Senior HR Manager. It will be your responsibility to manage workflow, be the main point of contact for advise to senior managers throughout this busy engineering firm, and take responsiblity for HR compliance and audit.
You will deputise for the Senior HR Manager and guide the HR team on employment law and legislative updates.
Drive corporate HR initiatives and change projects working with a wide variety of manager's througout the business.
Supporting disciplinary hearings and grievances, occupational health, and long term sickness cases.
Produce HR metrics and conduct daily HR team meetings in order to report back to the Senior HR Manager.
Requires of You:
CIPD Level 3 minimumcombined with approximately 15 years experience in a busy HR role.
We need somebody who is passionate about HR, about their career, and their ability to support others in a busy HR environment.
You will be able to provide leadership and guidance and feel confident and willing to impart your extensive experience and knowledge of HR policy, procedure and legislation.
Ideally, you will have exposure within a manufacturing, engineering or Unionised environment with a varied workforce.
Working Hours: Mon Fri 8-4 - ALL BASED ON SITE IN EXETER, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A HYBRID ROLE
