We are seeking a Teaching Facilitator to join our team at Harrogate College, within the Motor Vehicle department. This is a new role supporting the motor vehicle team with technician tasks, planning, teaching, and assessing learning, along with some administrative duties.
This role is ideal for someone with a motor vehicle background who wishes to start or advance their career in teaching.
What You Will Do
1. Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, and assessment plans.
2. Deliver and assess knowledge and understanding to learners.
3. Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop skills for progression.
4. Develop strong relationships with learners and provide support for successful outcomes.
5. Promote restorative practice approaches.

* You enjoy working with young people and can inspire, lead, and build respectful relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
* You have a passion for bringing out the best in others and can collaborate effectively.
* You possess relevant, up-to-date knowledge of the motor vehicle industry.
* You can inspire and motivate learners to reach their potential.
* You are willing to gain a CertEd qualification.
